Written clues about the past
Students were told that we are going to briefly step out of the
classroom to activate a time travel machine. When we activated the machine,
students became archaeologists from the future who will be working on the site
which is Pathways World school. They moved around on the campus and made a list
of all the artifacts, ecofacts and the features which can help them to learn
about this civilization.
After coming back to class students looked at a list of
artifacts and ecofacts from another site. This Site is in a different
geographic area and gave information about another culture (imaginary name –
Snaketown site). Students complete the Resource
Sheet B of the new site to classify this list of artifacts and ecofacts.
Little intelligent archaeologist.
