Relate and Reflect
As
a formative assessment for the 2nd line of inquiry students created
exhibits for a Museum of Ancient
Civilizations. This exhibit demonstrated
students learning about a particular ancient civilization. The museum exhibits
included descriptions and examples of Clothing, food, shelter, daily life,
cultural practices, beliefs, economies and governments. Student groups also
created an artifact to meet an identified need for the civilization they are
studying. The relationship between necessity, available resources, and
invention is examined. Few group also created models of ancient artifacts for their museum civilization. This museum exhibit was a beautiful
display of a students learning
about the past. J
