First week

Day 1

The first day unfolded with the various Ice-Breaker activities in all the sections of grade 3. In 3Y and 3X, the students did the 'Friendship Hunt'. The students were given a sheet with few details like 'brown eyes',' likes maths', 'has a dog' and many more. Students moved around their class asking their friends about them and writing their names on the sheet. They all were very excited and happy to know each other.In 3Y, the students also did the 'All about me' activity to write their likes and dislikes as a Mind-Map. This activity was followed by 'Friendship Web' , in which they had to write several facts about themselves without mentioning their names on a piece of paper. Then they were instructed to crumble their paper to make a ball for a paper ball fight for a minute. When the teacher said, ''Time up", they had to grab the closest ball and take turns to read and guess who the person .

In 3X, the students did the 'Bubble Bee' activity, they wrote their hopes and dreams while sitting in a group. They had also done 'Which Attitude am I?' , in which they had to choose an animal whose attitude maches with them. 
The students also made the Essential Agreement for their class.

                                      

Day 2 & 3

The students were asked to do 'What kind of teacher do you want 'activity.They discussed the Attitudes and Attributes of Learner Profile and then they were asked to choose any 1 or 2 attributes which match with their personality and to draw and write why they think the attributes match their personality.They shared their experiences during the summer vacation. The students were shown an interesting  PowerPoint Presentation on Concepts to strengthen their understanding with the help of discussion and explanation.
